New Project
I decided to make myself a Valentine quilt. Here are the fabrics that I bought a few years ago and stashed away. Now is the time to get a quilt made during these snowy days. I'm paper piecing first, then will cut out hearts and set them on a tone on tone cream background.

Favorite Winter Picture
I bought this winter wall hanging 5 years ago at the cranberry fest in Warren, Wisconsin. Love older homes and cottages. I could see myself living in this old home. Nostalgia! The other is an old tin piece a picked up somewhere.
Christmas Walk
My friends and I went on a Christmas walk up in northern Wisconsin a couple of weeks ago. This was alot of fun, played cards, went out for lunch, and shopping. The week that I was there it snowed beautiful big snow flakes. It was so beautiful watching thesnow come down across the lake, so peaceful, I didn't want to go home.
Childhood Christmas Memory
I love Christmas memories of my childhood past. It was such a fun time believing in Santa, the waiting, and watching. This will really date me, listensing to Billy the Brownie and Santa loading up the sleigh to start their trip around the world. How exciting! Here is an ornament that was made in 1st grade that would hang at the top of the tree every year at mom and dad's, now it hangs on my tree every year.
Christmas Quilt
A Christmas quilt half quilted two years ago that was stashed away. Will, I pulled it out and decided to finish quilting it this week. What a difference in my quilting in two years. This quilt I will keep to remind me how far I have come with my quilting.

Fast Easy Quilts
These are fast easy quilts to make for Christmas. It takes four days to make this quilt complete. First day rotary cut fabric. Second day piece together. Third day quilt simple design. Fourth day bind. Walla! Finished. The pattern is "Yellow Brick Road". All of the quilts that I have made with this pattern look different. These are last year quilts. Enjoy!

Heather's Wedding Quilt
Another wedding quilt, whooooa! I think I'll call myself the wedding quilt Queen. My daughter is getting married next May. Heather and Jason choose black & white for their wedding theme. She love's Art Deco, which she calls Victorian, or should I say she likes both styles.
The fabric is Essential by Studio Fabrics, block pattern is drunkards path design on EQ5. I will change the style of the border to scallops with pointed corners after it is quilted. I'll piece the top but not quilt it until the Holidays are over. (My quiet time)

New England Butterfly
Travel through the New England states last month to see the fall foliage. Simply beautiful! I was taking photos along the ocean and this butterfly showed up. It kept following me as I was walking along the coast. When I would stop, it would land on a branch spread it's wings as to say take my picture. God's an artist too! So beautiful!

First Quilts
Here are a few photos of the first log cabin quilts that I quilted a few years ago. When I first started quilting I would search magazines for ideas, I had know idea where to start. These quilts were quilted before I had any classes or knew what I was doing. It is fun to look back at my wonky feathers and swirls on the blue and white quilt. The brown and white log cabin was just a simple background pebble fill with vine and berry in the sashing. I got the idea from the print on the fabric. (I guess that is what you call letting the quilt talk to you.) LOL Enjoy!

HAPPY HOLLOWEEEEEEEN BOOOOOOOOOO
Here is a photo of a quilt that I pieced and appliqued last year and never made it to the LA. I think I should finish it before Thanksqiving. It would make a wonderful table top with a nice setting.
Still working on Lucy's quilt, you can tell I have been away from quilting for awhile. Will post her quilt in a couple of days.
