My Next Project

This fabric will be turned into one block  for a secrect pal  friend who I played cards with up in Northern Wisconsin and found out over Christmas who she was.  When she sent her husband to the post office with my package they told him he had to put a return address on the box.  Will guess what, I found out who she was. lololololol  Now I'm going to make her a thank you gift.   Can you guess what the block is?????

Heartstrings Time For Binding

Finished quilting Heartstrings today, tomorrow the binding.  Was thinking about adding more quilting in the white areas, hummmm!  Purple varigated thread YLI in the bobbin, red on top for the sashing to make the quilting on the back a little more interesting.

Quilter's Rule

This is a ruler that I bought last year and never used it until I needed  something to help me quilt around the appliques.  The instructions are around here somewhere as how to use it, hummmm!  I have DeLoa's Appliquide which is wonderful to work with but could not find it because it was buried under sketch books.  I think I need to get organized!   Oh yes!  The ruler was purchased at http://www.quiltersrule.com/

Strings to My Heart

My granddaughter stated that I should name my quilt "Strings To My Heart".  She's so smart!  Here is my progress in work.  Made a few mistakes which I will frog out later.   I draw my pattern on the quilt with blue water marker, then quilt.  I change my drawing that was posted earlier.
It is cold and rainy today, must be a good day for a nap.

Valentine Quilt

This is what I'm working on now.  Feathers around the heart and feathers in the triangles.  The heart pattern was a paper piece from Eleanor Burns book  " Through The Seasons. "

Sachet Quilt Finished

Quilted a simple all over leaf & flower pattern.  This is MY snuggle up quilt.

Flannel Quilt Top

The top is ready for quilting.  Will post a photo when I have the top finished.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010

Happy New Year to all.   Cold day to stay in,  watch the parade and football or I should say listen to it while I'm quilting.   Still working on the Valentine quilt and started another flannel quilt for cold days.  Floral flannel fabric is Marcus Fabric by Faye Burgos. 
My New Years resolution is to complete all the kits that I bought the past few years.
