Trip To The Bear Den Quilt Co.
Took a two day trip to northern Wisconsin for a little rest and relaxation. My son and daughter-in-law offered to stayed with my mother for a couple of days to give me a break from taking care of her 24/7. So I did a little card playing and visited this great quilt shop called the "Bear Den Quilt Co" owned by Karen Miller. http://www.beardenquiltco.com/ What a wonderful quilt shop.... fabric galore, classes, retreats, clubs, samples, gifts and more. Oh yes! custom machine quilting. Yep! I did a little shopping, bought Christmas fabric, fat quaters.

First Panto In Three Years
Here is a photo of the quilt I just finished for my son and his wife.
This is the first pantograph that I have used in 3 years .....I decided that I will never use one again. They are just not for me, get bored with them. Will stick with the custom quilting or use stencils. Oh yes! as you can see I messed up on the block placement......lol Oh will, this quilt is a service quilt to be wrapped up in to keep warm.

Winter Delight
These beauties came from my garden ...... I dislike can processed food, decided to learn how to can a few years ago so I would have healthy food during the winter months. Love making Minestrone soup, veggie chili, Spanish rice with green pepper, all from the garden. Back to quilting so I can get another picture posted.

Project for the Day
Queen size quilt for my son and daughter in law that's on the LA for today's project. Will use a no brainer design (pantograph) cause I'm to lazy to come up with a design that would be simple, fast, and look good.
This baby came from my daughters garden. That tomato went right into two slices of bread, lettuce, and a little mayo.

MINI QUIILT
My little mini quilt is almost complete, just waiting on the thread that I ordered. A Mulberry color to match the color in the leaf in the fabric that is on the front of the quilt. The color will go in the puffed out area to add interest to the back of the quilt. Had to do a little frogging also.... not paying attention to what I was quilting. That took awhile to pick all those tiny stitches out. Will post a photo when the quilt is completed.
OPPS! had to remove the photo so I wouldn't spoil the surprise for my secret mini swap partner. Here is a sneak preview. Don't ya just love it??
