Thank you all who have sent emails ..... I'm feeling much better now and at least back to quilting. I have a few more test to complete. I can hardly wait for spring so tired of all this snow.

Back To Quilting Again
Worked on the Tulip quilt this week.... SID around all the squares and rectangles. Piano Keys in the border with a little cross hatching and feathers. I'm not happy with the border.... the border is wide and should have divided in half and added something interesting.

I'M BACK & LOOK WHAT I FOUND
I have been sick for over a month and now I'm on the mend. Had to go to the hospital for breathing treatments....what a scary thing when you can not breathe. This is what I found on my porch when I came home. What a Surprise..... this is from my good friend Suzan who lives in France. The card is full of quilt design ideas . The tea is awesome....when I make a cup I think about her.... THANK YOU SUZAN!!!!
This also was received the same day ...... what a special day for me. My very good Aussie friend Raylene make this for me. I can not believe the tiny stitches and beads ....what BEAUTIFUL work. She is soooooo talented. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH RAYLENE!!!!
Hugs to both of you for thinking of me.
Tools Used on Christmas Quilt
I was asked what I used for tools to quilt my Christmas quilt..... straight ruler for SID, arch's for cross hatching and I use a plate for my circles.

Heather's Wedding Quilt
My next project on the list is to get my daughter's quilt top pieced. Yesterday was a cold day here and a great day to start the quilt and stay warm. She has not seen the fabric and hasn't check out the blog for awhile ...... so I'm taking a little chance here:)
My daughter gave me this Thank you card after Christmas.... I thought this would make a great center medallion applique. As you can tell she loves black & white. I already have a quilting design drawn up for this.
Today I decided to add another row of block to each side of the quilt cause it looks like I cut the ends off....lol Back to the sewing room to make 12 more blocks. This will make the quilt 54 x 54. Now that my head is not fuzzy I can think..lol
Tomorrow I will put the Christmas quilt through a rinse cycle and block it before I add the binding.
