Help Help Help Quilty Friends

I was given a baby quilt to quilt for a customer .........    eeeeeegads!    The top is regular zoo fabric,  the back is minky.     Never quilted with minky.... it is so stretchy.

QUESTION  ......   HOW DO I QUILT THIS BABY???????????

I've never quilted with Minky, but I know I've heard people use it for backing. Hope you get some input.

Yes minky is stretchy! I use it all the time for baby n toddler quilts. I dont load the sleavage on the leaders n dont roll tight. I also do an open quilting design so it keeps the minky soft n cuddly!

Sorry, I can't help. I know it stretches. That is all I know...sorry.

Minky is SO easy. Use a thin batting as well. Load the minky with the stretch going in themachine direction, not side to side. Don't over tighten the backing and you will be just fine. Select a loose design to maintain the minky loft.
