Irish Chain

This is my get then on feathers........   I pieced this top five years ago,   it has been on and off the frame  for a month because of all this viewing and showing of  the house.    Decided I need to hurry up and get it off the frame so I can take the frame apart for moving.    Finished this bugger up last night.

This is all freehand except the border which I used a stencil .....    Once we get moved and settled I will put it back on the frame with the back up and add background fill.

Dinosaur Applique

This is what I worked on today,   finally got all the appliques cut out and fused to the background fabric.   Tonight I will assemble the quilt and it will be ready for quilting.     Have been soooooooo busy the past two weeks.    We have another open house tomorrow so things should slow down for next week.    Maybe I can get some quilting time in.........

Had a nice visit with my daughter and granddaughter,  they were in town for a week.    Also did a little landscaping around the house for this weekend.

Little Piecing Time For Me

This is what I worked on this weekend  in between cleaning out my parents house and putting STUFF in storage.    Will close on their house tomorrow,   one house out of the way.........    yeyyyyyyyyy!

Simple quilt design.......   You know me,   I love SIMPLE!

Enlarged the fabric print for the appliques,  now to decide if I want to do raw edge or turn.........   hummmmmmmm

This quilt is going to be so cute,   Big boy thou!!

Dinosaur fabric,  love the green one,  it looks like dinosaur skin.

Fabric starched and ready to go.    The light green is for the weird looking bird.

                                                 Solid background is for the dinosaurs............



























I enlarged the fabric print for the dinosaurs,   cut them out and now I'm ready to start the applique work.
